My Summer
Over
the summer I was able to have the opportunity to experience many new things.
June went by fast for me. At the beginning of month I went to Rosebud, South
Dakota for a mission trip. My church helped out the Indian reservation and
surrounding areas. I came home for three days and packed up again to leave for Austin,
Texas. My friend Hanna and I went there for vacation and to visit her dad and
half-sister. It was amazing being in beautiful weather while boating on Lake
Travis and swimming in Hamilton’s pool and Jacob’s Well. After that trip I came
home to rest up for a week. I then headed off to Texas again, but this time to San
Antonio for a National Youth Gathering with my youth group. It was already into
July when my trips were finally done. The rest of my summer consisted of hanging
out with friends and soaking up the sun.
